Jonathankermisfan Kermis Nijmegen 2020 Vandaag op de kermis van Nijmegen geweest. Normaal staat de kermis in het Centrum, dit jaar staat hij vanwege Corona op de NYMA terrein. Ik vond de locatie best wat hebben tussen de oude huizen en muren. Qua attracties stonden er echt wel wat toppers. 2 Giganten staan op deze kermis! De eerste is de infinity. Dit is zijn 2e kermis in Nederland en leuk om hem nog een keer te zien! De 2e gigant is de aeronaut. Wat een prachtige zweef toren is dat. Echt gigantisch hoog en je hebt uitzicht over de prachtige waalstad! Zeker een aanrader. Verder nog een verrassing die al heel lang niet meer op de Nederlandse kermis staat namelijk de wall of Death. Een steile wand dus. Verder terug uit het buitenland de Break dance van Koldewijn! Nette break dance met goede ritten. Ook de beste afterbuner stond er namelijk de Chaos. De mooiste locatie was voor de power polyp naar mij mening. De power polyp stond tussen 2 muren in en het lijkt net of hij daar een achterwand heeft. Verder stond er nog een mouse achtbaan, Spookhuis, Wip, Booster, Glazen doolhof, Fun house, Rupsbaan en een Autoscooter. Het was niet zo heel druk helaas. Er staat weer wel een top kermis!
PeterCenturion Het terrein waarop dit jaar deze kermis staat doet desolaat aan. De vervallen fabrieksgebouwen zijn een rare achtergrond voor deze kermis, waar toch wel een verrassende mix van zaken staat. De beide grote zaken van Hoefnagels zijn niet de enige die de show stelen hier, want ook de ouderwetse steilwand doet het best goed. Hier gaan echt alle leeftijden naar binnen. Hopelijk wordt het wel wat drukker op het terrein in de komende weken. MartijnH Vandaag een bezoek gebracht aan Nijmegen, op een mooie locatie staat een mooie kermis opgesteld.
RuutR Vanavond tussen 18.00 en 19.00 uur even op deze “Pop Up” Kermis geweest. Vanwege etenstijd was er niet veel te doen en helaas ging het na 19.00 uur flink regenen, dus ik vrees dat het vanavond niet echt druk is geweest. Het terrein vind ik wel wat hebben. Ook ruig om toppers als de Aeronaut en de Infinity hier te zien en voor de rest ook een nette mix vermaakzaken en best een leuke opstelling. Ik weet alleen niet hoe de bereikbaarheid is vanaf het centrum en of iedereen deze kermis wel weet te vinden. Parkeerplaatsen waren ook niet echt optimaal. Hier een paar foto’s:
MartijnH Er is echt een vrij grote parkeerplaats achter dat gebouw. Ik vond juist dat er genoeg parkeermogelijkheden waren. Ook met een stukje lopen zag ik nog een parkeerplaats aan de overzijde.
RuutR MartijnH Dat kunnen ze dan wel beter aangeven. Het ziet er sowieso een beetje dubieus uit daar. Urbex Exploring en kermis vieren in een 😛
Kermisfan-Olaf Vanmiddag dan toch eindelijk eens op de “kermis” van Nijmegen geweest. Nijmegen, waar ik al heel lang in m’n leven kom en zo ook vaak zat op de kermis. De topkermissen in de jaren 90 zijn mij altijd bijgebleven, de laatste jaren was het toch wel wat minder allemaal vond ik. Ook de publieke belangstelling. Nu dan op het NYMA terrein. Gewoon te voet gegaan vanaf het station door het Waterkwartier, geen probleem. Toch ben ik bij de kermis zelf nog even verkeerd gelopen maar gelukkig vond ik dan toch nog de entree. Het aanbod is prima en natuurlijk is dat ook te danken aan de toppers Infinity en Aeronaut die je normaal in Duitsland zult treffen. Aeronaut was vanmiddag helaas stuk. Maar het blijft een prachtige zaak. In Herne had ik hem al eens getroffen, maar toch jammer dat er wat loos was vandaag. De zon scheen soms en het werd ook even heel erg donker. Er vielen slechts een paar druppels. Maar daarvoor toen de zon scheen was het er ook al niet druk. Nu weet ik, vrijdagmiddag zal niet het drukste moment zijn. Maar het was zelfs voor een vrijdagmiddag wel erg slap vond ik zelf. Natuurlijk heb je in de binnenstad meer (ook winkelend) publiek. Hopelijk is dit eenmalig want de kermis hoort hier toch niet. Tenzij het niet anders kan zoals nu uiteraard.
