München (D), Sommer in der Stadt 2021

De “Sommer in der Stadt” in München was mij vorig jaar goed bevallen. Dus, dit jaar weer een bezoek aan München. Gespreid over de stad stonden diverse kleinere en grotere kermissen. Het eerste terrein was het Olympiapark, wat ook het best bezocht was.

Dan het Königplatz. Dit kan zomaar een extra kermisterrrein in de stad worden in de toekomst. Tijdens het toeristenseizoen met alle musea vlakbij geeft dat wel kansen. Een kleine biertent achter de Biergarten, autoscooter en een paar extra kleinere zaken en je hebt hier dan toch een aardige kermis voor de toeristen. En staat het kleine Reuzenrad van Willenborg niet op een zeer fotogenieke plek?

Dan naar het Werksviertel bij het Ostbahnhof. Rond um het reuzenrad Umadum vinden we een paar kermiszaken. Ietwat tegenvallend, hier. Er is geen sfeer. De zweefmolen is wel opvallend. Niet beschilderd in klassieke stijl, maar in een rockthema.

Tenslotte de Theresienwiese. Eigenlijk had je hier om deze tijd de werkzaamheden aan de opbouw van de biertenten moeten zien. Maar dit jaar dus niet. Hier vinden we een sportterrein, omgeven door een paar kantzaken en aan de andere kant dus een kermis, die de grootte heeft van de Frühlingsfest wat daar ook ieder jaar plaatsvindt. Het valt mij zeker niet tegen en juist omdat het dezelfde grootte heeft als het Frühlingsfest heb je eigenlijk niet de indruk dat je op een “Coronakermis” bent. Fraaie zaken staan hier, weliswaar wat verder uit elkaar dan normaal en zonder de twee biertenten. De paden zijn uiteraard heel breed dit jaar. Maar ik hoop hier volgend jaar toch weer met de familie uit Oostenrijk in de Ochsenbraterei te kunnen zitten.
