De Polderse kermis. Een “zuip” kermis van formaat. Een grote kroeg, uitgebreid met een enorme feesttent met honderden bezoekers. Vele kermisborrels met verkleedpartijen en het dorp is dan het hele weekend half dronken. Dit jaar is dat er niet. De kroeg is alleen geopend voor personen die een uitnodiging hebben ontvangen (50 per avond). Geen feesttent en de gemeente heeft een klemmend beroep op de inwoners gedaan om geen kermisborrels te organiseren dit jaar. Of dat laatste lukt, weten we over 3 dagen. Maar diezelfde gemeente heeft wel voor de kinderen de attracties te laten komen.
Het kermisterrein is duidelijk anders ingericht dan andere jaren en er is een éénrichtingsverkeer ingesteld. Het terrein is redelijk goed gevuld met volk. Vreemd genoeg zie je hier dat de wijze waarop het hekwerk middenop het terrein is opgesteld (zodat er duidelijk éénrichtingverkeer is) er ook voor zorgt dat volwassenen afstand tot elkaar proberen te houden. Dat lukt vrij aardig hier. Een aanrader om dat op meer terreinen te doen.
